ProfGuangjie Han

Hohai University, China


Guangjie Han, Ph.D., Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, is the Dean of the School of Information Science and Engineering at Hohai University, and a Fellow of IEEE, IET, and AAIA. His primary research areas include underwater acoustic communication and networking, industrial Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and network security. In recent years, he has published over 380 high-level SCI journal papers in international journals such as IEEE JSAC, IEEE TMC, IEEE TPDS, and IEEE TON (including more than 130 papers in IEEE/ACM Transactions series). As of now, his work has been cited over 18,600 times according to Google Scholar, with an H-index of 73. He has chaired more than 30 provincial and ministerial-level projects, including major projects from the National Key Research and Development Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has received ten provincial- and ministerial-level awards and holds 144 authorized invention patents. He has been included in the list of Top 2% Scientists globally for six consecutive years (2019-2024) and the list of highly-cited scholars in China by Elsevier for four consecutive years (2020-2023). Currently, Dr. Han is an associate editor for over ten international journals, including IEEE TII, IEEE TCCN, IEEE TVT, and IEEE Systems. He has been recognized as a member of the Jiangsu Provincial 333 High-level Talent (Level 2) Program, an expert with Outstanding Contributions in Jiangsu Province, and has received various honors such as the Wuyi Labor Medal in Changzhou.


Prof. Wenbing Zhao

Cleveland State University, USA

Dr. Zhao is a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Cleveland State University. He got his BS and MS degrees from the Physics Department in Peking University. He earned his Ph.D. at University of California, Santa Barbara in 2002. He has over 250 peer-reviewed publications and the author of the research monograph titled “From Traditional Fault Tolerance to Blockchain.” Dr. Zhao’s research spans from dependable distributed systems, human centered smart systems, and engineering education. His research has been funded by the US NSF, the US Department of Energy, the US Department of Education, the US Department of Transportation, Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Ohio Department of Higher Education, the Ohio Development Services Agency, and Woodruff Foundation. He has delivered more than 10 keynotes, tutorials, public talks and demonstrations in various conferences, industry and academic venues. Dr. Zhao is an associate editor for IEEE Access, Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences, MDPI Computers, and PeerJ Computer Science, and a member of the editorial board of several international journals, including Sensors, Applied System Innovation, and Internal Journal of Parallel, Emergent and Distributed Systems. He is currently an IEEE Senior Member and serves on the executive committee of the IEEE Cleveland Section.

Prof. Weineng Chen

South China University of Technology, China


Prof. Wei-Neng Chen (S’07-M’12-SM’17) received the bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, in 2006 and 2012, respectively.  Since 2016, he has been a Full Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou. He has co-authored over 100 international journal and conference papers, including more than 70 papers published in the IEEE Transactions journals. His current research interests include computational intelligence, swarm intelligence, network science, and their applications.  

Dr. Chen was a recipient of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Outstanding Dissertation Award in 2016, and the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars in 2016. He was also a Principle Investigator (PI) of the National Science and Technology Innovation 2030 -- the Next Generation Artificial Intelligence Key Project. He is currently the Vice-Chair of the IEEE Guangzhou Section, and the Chair of IEEE SMC Society Guangzhou Chapter. He is also a Committee Member of the IEEE CIS Emerging Topics Task Force. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, and the Complex & Intelligent Systems.



Prof. Zhuowei Wang

Guangdong University of Technology, China

Zhuowei Wang is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Young Pearl River Scholar. She has been a visiting scholar at Tampere University of Technology in Finland and Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She is currently Deputy Dean of the School of Computer Science at Guangdong University of Technology, and serves as Deputy Director of the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Cyber-Physical System Integration Technology in Intelligent Manufacturing and the Key Laboratory of Cyber-Physical Systems in Guangdong Province. She has been engaged in research on knowledge automation and software development, high-performance computing, and distributed deep learning for a long time. In the past five years, she has chaired and participated in several key national and provincial scientific research projects (including hosting three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation); she has been on the research team of over 20 projects, including those under the National Key Research and Development Program, key projects of the Guangdong Provincial Joint Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation, major projects for high-resolution earth observation under the Ministry of Defense, as well as various provincial and municipal science and technology projects. She has published over 50 papers in high-level domestic and international journals and conferences and has been granted 10 invention patents. She received the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Guangdong Province twice, in 2022 and 2019.

Prof. Guanghui Li

Jiangnan University

Guanghui Li is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer at Jiangnan University. He is Director of the Intelligent Sensing and Non-Destructive Testing Technology Laboratory, a second-tier talent in Zhejiang Province’s “New Century 151 Talent Engineering” and a leading talent in social undertakings in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. His primary research and teaching areas include the Internet of Things, edge computing, and intelligent non-destructive testing. He has chaired one project under the National 863 Program, six projects under the National Natural Science Foundation, one project on national defense science and technology innovation, and fifteen provincial and ministerial-level research projects. He has also participated in three research projects under the National Key Research and Development Program and National Major Scientific and Technological Special Projects. He has published over 100 papers in journals and conferences, including IEEE TMC, TKDE, TSC, TGRS, TNSM, Journal of Computer Science, and Computer Research and Development. He has also received the Second-Class Science and Technology Progress Award from Zhejiang Province and the Second-Class Science and Technology Award from Jiangsu Province.
